The International Institute for the Advanced Studies of Psychotherapy and Applied Mental Health, is pleased to launch the "Aaron T. Beck Award Program for Research in the Theory and Practice of Cognitive Therapy".

Aaron T. Beck is one of the main originators of the "cognitive revolution" in psychotherapy, the father of cognitive therapy (CT). The Aaron T. Beck Award aims to recognize and encourage the brightest among the rising generation of young researchers who share an interest in cognitive behavioral psychotherapies (CBT). Cognitive therapy is one of the most influential schools of cognitive behavioral psychotherapies, with a firm ground on science and research, a platform for promoting evidence-based psychotherapies.
