There are two levels of CBT certification in the Romanian Association of CBT: (1) Certified Member and (2) Supervisor (Fellow, Diplomate).

• The first level is awarded to practicing health practitioners who have received speciality training in CBT/REBT and/or CT. The first level signifies to the public that the individual is a qualified practitioner of CBT/REBT and/or CT (under supervision or independently).
• The second level is awarded to practitioners who made a substantial and enduring contribution to the fields of CBT/REBT and/or CT, through, research, writings, teaching, or clinical practice. They should have a special training at supervisory (Fellow, Diplomate) level. They can train other people in order to get competence at first or second level.
